76. How to Choose the Perfect Gift

I know it's not Christmas time. But we give gifts all the time. If we include acts of service, we give something to our spouse or family (hopefully) nearly every day.

There are different ways we can approach gift giving. We can

–give what we want to give

–give what we want to get

–give what we think the other would give to us

–give what we think the other would want to receive

None of these approaches are wrong or bad. Just different. Well, we're partial to the last one, to be honest. We wanted to help you think about gift giving, and giving service, in a way you might not have ever looked at it before.

(I'm curious what might happen if you pair this idea with the concept of the 5 Love Languages!)

You deserve to have an amazing marriage.  You know it's possible for you, but you don't know how to make it happen.  That's why we are here!
